gone to a BBQ in the heights and seen Dan,Angel,Darlene,Cindy,Jea9 among many others

Chilled in flushing with Elsa,Aura and Zhen, also ended up seeing Jonaed,Bush,Athena,Nashita and Unsha while at the mall. had some good malaysian food and took pics at totos

chilled at Elenas house, had her come over the following day.

Chilled in central park with Daphne and Jea9 playing sandwich and listening to music

Saw Toy Story 3 and ate wings with Pimento, den chilled with Sean and Andres.

Yesterday i went to Queens with Jordan to chill with Momo, went to astoria park, got dominos stuffed our faces at Momos house watchin ESPN( i was being a guy obv), den went to fort totten which i LOVE. lol oh and they bought me my first slurpee.

Today Kamrun passed by for a bit.

I have clearly been MIA from this blog lol

the summer has been passin decently... Unsha and Kristie came thru to the city to see me last week....uhm alot of stayin up late and sleepin in, had a family bbq in pelham for memorial day wknd which Aura came thru to and Nykes family was also in the park for. Nyke and Krissy and even MICKEY who i hadnt seen in 3 yrs have come over to chill. uhm went to science today with Bush and Darlene to see my loves in the musical and went with Bush Sean Albert and Kristina to coldstone afterwards yummm.

Def have some plans to chill in the upcoming days, bbq in the heights on sunday. shit is looking good.

My dad is tryna send me to DR for a bit, dont wanna go that much but kinda do. we shall see. but chillin shall be starting sooooon. i saw my wifey Zhen today! she wanted me to meet her bf cuz obv i had to meet him, and i def still approve very much =D. my wifey can only date good people obv.

uhm, some HEAVY studyin, and some paper writing needs to go on this wknd. like seriously. but maybe do some chillage tomorrow and probably monday. aha.

uhm Krissy and Nyke came over 2 wks ago for the first time in forever and Ramons gf and friends also came over, and we went to this park to stalk krissys bf and den the cops came and were like wtf its like 11 ya look mad shady and have no id we got out of it witout anything and came back to my house to eat milk and cookies and laugh....yea..fail much? lol

uhm saw Pimento and Chris last week.

So since my last post ive uhm actually gone outside and the weather has improved mucho.

On wed, Cindy and Pimento came to the bx and we went to this gown place so Cindy could order her prom dress, then passed by Cindys crib and ate at Caridad. I wasnt able to eat much since i couldnt eat meat lol. Friday i went to the doctors and got my knee checked out cuz it has been bothering me, turns out i have "patellofemoral pain syndrome" thus i have to rest,ice,compress and elevate my knee take mortrin and get physical therapy whoooo -___- lol, but after the doctors i headed over to Central Park and chilled with Dan,Angel,Chris, and Hana and saw some others, so happy i missed them like CRAZY. Yesterday i was also at central park chilling with Jea9,Nelson,Aura,Pimento(& her bf),Kamrun, and Naj, and we later were joined by Kristina and Unsha, and after that me and Jea9 spent some time in starbucks with Sean. so ive basically got to see my loves this break even though i was home for most of it aha.

oh today i went to mass, went to abuelas and had some pernil which tasted so good after 4 straight meatless days!, and den went to the heights and met some cousins i didnt know i had...mad dominican.

Hello Spring break

so it would be awesome if this blog was about how i was going away with a group of friends for break and get wasted and have a blast. but its not.

so ive been kinda mia from this blog, i would blame tumblr but thats a lie its just nothings been happening. school,missing school, chilling and sleepin is all ive been up to. ended up passin by science the other day, got mad love from the loves, but that place is def completely diff den wen i left it, oh well who cares.

but break is here and i shall hopefuly be doing some chilling and school work, we shall see.

maybe ill write tomorrow if i end up goin to palm sunday mass, u kno church always has me feeling some type of way lol.

soo i kno i havent updated but as usual the past uh 2 weeks have been a blur, but a blur of good stuff. ive pretty much been going to school and chilling, in the past two weeks i got to see Zhen,Kamrun,Cindy, Nick, and Jeanine which is coool. Uhm Ramon is dumb. lol. and spring break is SOON. THANK GOD. and that is all, im kinda tired. oh and ive spent alot of time in central park. about 5 or 6 times these past two weeks. lol

Happiness is simple.

This past week and weekend have gone by well and i have been pretty happy. No i did not win the lottery, no i did not travel somewhere exotic, nor anything else thats over the top. BUT i did read some good books, spent time with friends, and enjoyed the simple things in life that can make me smile.

Me and Aura went to the library a couple of times, she came over yesterday, and i think my mom likes her better than she likes me...oh well.

Hung out with other Jjay homies and had some real good laughs.

Spent some time with Jea9 just talkin and catching a bite.

Saw Cindy today and checked out the pretty cool Museum of International Photography, then headed over to the heights to see Elena and Chris, simply walked around but it was nice i really missed Elena and always enjoy seeing Chris.

Simple, yet exactly what i needed.

Next week and weekend also look very promising, and perhaps the rest of this month, which is funny b/c i always hated march cause it was the month we never got any days off from school. Lets hope im not wrong, i can use some simple happiness.

i know i just updated, but i just realized today is the 10th anniversary of the death of my first fav singer, Selena, and i love her too much to throw this in on tumblr in a midst of photos and quotes.

Good to know can still talk to Ric for hours though :)-oh and for those of you who dont know that was DOMINICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY!! and wow of all people who was i with...the biggest hater LOL

So while reading the NY times online yesterday i came across this article(click me to read and find links to vids lol) about how Tufts University invited its applicants to attach videos to their applications to give the admission people a better idea who they were and to show off some of their skills. It made me think about what would i include in a video of myself if i wanted a college or just another person get a real sense of who i was. Maybe i will make a video just cause? hmm. idk.

Just felt like sharing that especially since some of the readers of this blog just recently applied to college :)

Lent!

So I've been meaning to update and everyone seems to be updating today so i figured its time i get on that.

I must say the past week has been a BLUR. I barely remeber the time ive spent in class, in fact i was barely in class these few days haha. I visited Kamrun thursday over at NYU with Aura and had a nice lil chat for a couple of hours. that 4 day weekend i was looking forward to? Came and went with nothing to be said of it. Yesterday i had a very pleasant day at Seans house along with Cindy,Pimento,Jeanine,Syeda, and Caroline. We hung out played taboo and went to eat at Unos. It was nice.

So for those practicing Catholics out there, you may have recognized the quote at the beginning of this post as one of the two or three things we might be told when we get ashes placed on our foreheads on Ash Wednesday. So lent has begun today, i have given up facebook, limited my use of Aim and no meat on wednesday in addition to the mandatory fridays? sounds like a bit but im looking forward to it. Lent is or rather was my FAVORITE time of year and i LIVED for Easter mass and then looked forward to a UTM retreat that would occur afterward. But things have changed.

Only thing i want out of this lent...the connection i once felt to God, that brought a smile to my face, had me walking through snowstorms to get to sunday Mass, and had me blasting Christian music while everyone else played the latest rap song.

Same silly face lol.

But got my ashes to remind me of what i will end up as.

Decent week, horrible weekend.

First full week of the semester...like my classes they get me thinking. There are also alot of interesting kids in my classes. hmm.

this weekend blows, i have a head cold. feel like shit. and wasnt able to do any of the work i had planned. working on an essay now cause i MUST get this done. hope this week goes by fast since its only 4 days, and hopefully it goes well. that is all.

that is me sick in bed. NOT happy.

Spring Semester!

Started the new semester on thursday and i must say i think i lucked out once again with pretty cool professors. My classes all seem pretty interesting, think i will enjoy my English class the most and probably Stat the least lol. WE SHALL SEE. But yea this semester is so different from last which i started all scared and shy now its like watever and i have a friend in each class and am looking forward to making more this semester!

oh and I'm already ready for my next long weekend or break. smfh.

ima go write some letters to the loves then watch some tv and maybe start an essay?

Update for myself

Just to update on wat ive done since my last post for future memory purposes

Wed i went to the seaport with Aura,Nick,Ric, and Irshad and then passed by Aura's house later on with Ric. It was a pretty chill day but kinda cold so didnt get to enjoy the seaport as much as i woulda liked.

Friday went to the mall with Aura,Ric,and Bush, bought myself a pair of skinny jeans and a cardigan. Bush left and the rest of us went to Auras, Nick came through and we watched UP which was a good but kinda sad movie.

Saturday was Jeanine's bday dinner which was fun and got to chill with Jeanine,Ted,Pimento,Sean,Caroline,Kristina,Unsha,Nelson,and Katherina. it was nice and fun seeing the loves and everyone looked nice =D

Sunday was Aura bday did Karoke with Aura, Ricardo,Manpreet and NAIEMA!

and uhm Yesterday headed over to queens to chill with Pimento in her crib and weird neighborhood.

Hit up the bruckner with Nyke and Krissy today....SCHOOOL TOMORROW GASPPPPP

So quick update of wat ive done since my last update...Last sunday went to the island(Staten Island) with Krissy to chill at Stephanies house with Steph, Aura, Ashley and saw Jimmyy for a bit. I am most def in love with Stephs house and dog LOL. The following tuesday me and Juan went by Bx Sci to see Cindy and we went to Bk and ran into Greg there and deadass was there for like 4 hours just chattin haha. After that i spent 5 straight days home bored out of my mind smfh.

Yesterday was good though i went to the city to spend some time with....ANGEL<3 and that alone makes my break much better cause i love that boy and missed him and since he left today for school i was almost not gonna see him. But it was real good seeing him and catching up, i must eventually visit him in albany without a doubt.

But yea all my loves have gone back to school and i miss them, but im actually looking forward to starting school at the end of next week...new schedule, new classes, new PEOPLE. whooo, and ive also decided to start writing to my friends in order to keep in touch since we will all be so busy.

Idk why i updated not much to say but i was just in da mood, today will be a day of chores for me such as laundry, cleaning, and other things that i should do.

hopefully i update later on in the week, with tales of some fun day i have, or some great insight lol.

living it to the fullest?

So these past couple of days i've been thinking about life and well, how to take it. On tuesday i passed by science to meet up with Cindy to go with her to the city. And one of my favorite things about hanging out with Cindy is that we always end up talking about life and the people in it. That particular day my look on it was"nothings permanent, lifes not permanent so FUCK IT!" now that doesnt seem like a very good way to look at life. But just think how easy it would be to always have that mind state. Yes it underminds the positive things in life by saying that they won't last but it makes the negative things seem not so bad. There would be less things to stress over so wouldnt we be happier?

Then wed was a pretty interesting day, Mauri,Elena,Dan, and Hana came to pick me up and we went to...IHOP!! mmmmm mad goood food. We dropped Hana off den just drove around and went to chill. And i ended up trying weed for the first time =0 now if ur reading this and didnt already know your probably like WTF VIDIVEL NO WAYYYY, haha guess wat i still kinda am too lol. But sadly it wasnt peer pressure or anything but rather me giving into temptation or maybe its a good thing that it wasnt peer pressure lol. Those of you who know about it know the uh fail it was LMAO but jea i did get a tiny high from it and its watever. But im very happy Dan was there for my first and i always did say my first if ever would probably be with Dan and Elena haha(sorry Juan and Cindy lol) i still feel kinda weird about trying it seeing as a former me woulda never ever done it. Like this is most def not gonna become a habit or something like that but honestly ill probably try it again....i do owe Juan...watever....at this point im with Cudi "theyre gonna judge me anyway so whatever".

Thurday was a nice day i went to the Tim Burton exhibit at the MoMa with Kim =].

Funny thing today on my fb newsfeed was ALL about madd bx sci seniors tryin weed for the first time this week like wtf lmaoo wow. wtf is da world coming to. watever guess im not one to talk. Anyways i spent the day at QC with Pimento and Unsha and i had fun so it was def a good dayyy. Staten Island tomorrow!

anyways im quite out of balance with my life right now. i guess u can say im reevaluating my views on things and life in general. I suddenly find myself wondering what is truly wrong and what is all a matter of opinion. and wat exactly does living life to the fullest mean?!

New Year, but same me?

Before i can talk about this new year that has started today...i must briefly discuss the beautiful end to my 09.

dec 30th= Chilling at Juans house with Krissy, Aura, Stephanie, and Justin. Drinking and smoking Hookah(which i think ima stop) def got BUZZED. but had me a good ol time with my biffles. <3

dec 31st= MOMO's BDAY...but hes in BD lol.

woke up and my KEYBOARD WAS HEREEEEEEEEEE and den i checked my grades online and my final grade was here so uhm i got 2 A's, 1 A-, and 2 B+'s for a total gpa of 3.66 WATUPPP. such good things to wake up to lol. den spent the rest of the night at my cousins house chilling with the family. <3

have spent this first day of the year teaching myself how to play twinkle twinkle little star lol..
